As our new Senior Project Manager, Motor, you will be managing end-to-end delivery of motor-related projects, coordinating closely with engineers and suppliers on-site to ensure machines are delivered on time and with the required quality. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Motor Engineering team, you'll create impact by Driving the reliable delivery of critical motor technologies that power Grundfos's next generation of sustainable pump solutions.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Own project delivery from planning through execution, ensuring machines and motor equipment are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
- Coordinate directly with engineers, technicians, and suppliers on-site next to the machines to resolve technical challenges in real time
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations across cross-functional teams
- Drive quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Grundfos standards
- Report project status, milestones, and escalations to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Continuously improve project management practices and tools within the motor project portfolio
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a technically strong project leader with hands-on machinery experience, a structured approach to delivery, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, on-site environments. We would also imagine that you have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of project management experience in machinery, motor, or manufacturing environments
- Strong technical understanding of motors, machinery, or electromechanical systems
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and with high quality
It is a plus if you also:
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
- Experience with motor manufacturing processes or industrial automation
- Familiarity with Grundfos products or similar pump/motor technologies
You'll also be available for travelling up to 30 days per year.
