As our new Market Development Manager, you will be owning and growing a portfolio of strategic OEM accounts across Texas, developing multi-year account strategies, and driving specification and adoption of Grundfos solutions within OEM designs and platforms. What you will be doing:
As a key part of the OEM Sales & Market Development team, you'll create impact by Expanding Grundfos's presence within key OEM accounts by orchestrating cross-functional resources to deliver profitable growth and long-term strategic partnerships.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute multi-year account plans for strategic OEM customers, with accountability for revenue growth, profitability, and share-of-wallet expansion
- Build executive, engineering, and purchasing relationships within OEM organizations and facilitate executive-to-executive alignment with Grundfos leadership
- Identify, qualify, and close new OEM opportunities through cross-selling, upselling, and driving specification of Grundfos products into OEM designs
- Lead contract negotiations and commercial agreements while managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from identification through close
- Conduct account analyses covering market share, competitive positioning, and product adoption, and deliver market intelligence to product and leadership teams
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales Development Managers, Product Management, Applications Engineering, and Operations to deliver on account objectives
What makes you a great fit:
Above all, you are a results-driven strategic account leader with a hunter mentality, deep experience in industrial or water-related sales, and the ability to navigate complex OEM organizations while coordinating internal teams to win.
We would also imagine that you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- 7+ years of industrial, municipal, water, or OEM sales experience with 5+ years in key account management
- Demonstrated success growing strategic customer relationships and managing complex sales cycles and contract negotiations
- Strong CRM and pipeline management skills with willingness to travel 50–70% throughout Texas
- Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
It is a plus if you also:
- Experience selling pumps, pump systems, water infrastructure products, motors, controls, or related engineered products
- OEM account management experience in water utility, groundwater, wastewater, irrigation, or industrial water markets
- Training in Challenger Sales, Miller Heiman, Strategic Selling, or comparable sales methodology
- You'll also be available for travelling up to 100 days per year.

The salary range for this position is $97,000.00 - $130,000.00. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. The salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in this region.
