Associate Project Engineer

As our new Associate Project Engineer, you will be supporting and coordinating engineering projects within our manufacturing operations, helping to deliver technical solutions that improve production processes, quality, and efficiency. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, you'll create impact by Driving continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes by delivering projects that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and support Grundfos's mission of pioneering sustainable water solutions..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and execute manufacturing engineering projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and supply chain to identify and implement process improvements
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules, risk assessments, and progress reports
  • Support the introduction of new products and equipment into manufacturing lines through technical evaluation and validation
  • Analyze production data to identify root causes of inefficiencies and propose engineering solutions

 

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a detail-oriented engineering professional with strong project coordination skills, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine enthusiasm for solving manufacturing challenges. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related engineering discipline
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or project engineering environment
  • Solid understanding of project management fundamentals including planning, scheduling, and risk management
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CAD tools or project management software

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with pump systems, rotating equipment, or fluid handling technologies
  • Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP
