CSSC Back Office Engineer
Job Description

As our new Customer Sales and Support Center Back Office Engineer, Industry you will be providing expert technical support by sizing, selecting, and configuring pumping solutions for demanding industrial applications partnering with customers and sales teams to deliver accurate, high-quality engineering guidance.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Customer Sales and Support Center (CSSC) team, you'll create impact by Delivering precise technical solutions that help customers optimize their industrial water systems while advancing Grundfos's mission of pioneering sustainable water technology.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate customer requirements and deliver accurate product selection, sizing, and system configurations for pumps, motors, and related equipment
  • Respond to technical inquiries with clear engineering guidance, documentation, and application recommendations
  • Prepare and review technical submittals, performance curves, and compliance documentation to support quotations
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to resolve complex application challenges

 

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a detail-oriented technical problem solver with strong hydraulic and motor knowledge, hands-on experience in product selection for industrial rotating equipment, and a collaborative mindset. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field)
  • 3+ years' experience in technical support, application engineering, or product selection for pumps, motors, or rotating equipment
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, motor performance, and industrial water distribution systems

 

It is a plus if you also:

  • Familiarity with Grundfos or similar pump manufacturer product portfolios
  • Experience preparing technical submittals and performance documentation for industrial projects
  • Working knowledge of energy-efficiency standards and variable frequency drive applications
