Associate Finance Specialist
Job Description

Would you like to join the Grundfos Group Treasury Back Office and take responsibility for activities related to banks and investments, including controls, reconciliations, analysis, and reporting?


What is the job about?
As our Senior Accountant, Group Treasury, you will be responsible for the back-office handling, control, confirmation, settlement, reporting, and accounting support of FX deals and related treasury transactions for selected Grundfos companies. This key control role ensures transaction data is accurate, complete, confirmed with banks, and correctly reflected in Treasury and accounting systems.
We are looking for someone with a strong control mindset, attention to detail, and an interest in FX and treasury operations. You enjoy working with data, collaborating with banks and stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement and automation of FX Back Office processes.


Your main responsibilities

Execute activities defined in the SLAs/OLAs for Group Treasury FX Back Office
Review and control FX deals, including spot, forward, swap, and other treasury transactions
Ensure timely confirmation, matching, and settlement of FX deals with banks, Treasury Front Office, and local Finance teams
Resolve confirmation and settlement issues with banks
Maintain treasury and master data relevant to FX Back Office processes
Perform daily and monthly reconciliations between Treasury systems, bank confirmations, statements, and accounting records
Prepare reporting on deal status, settlements, reconciliations, bank fees, and controls
Execute month-end and year-end activities, including reconciliations and accounting support
Support Treasury Front Office with validated data, documentation, analysis, and audit requests
Drive optimization, automation, and standardization of controls, reporting, and procedures
Perform other Treasury tasks assigned by the Process Manager and/or Head of Group Treasury, Risk Management & Insurance

 

Your background

University or college degree in economics, finance, accounting, or a related field
2–4 years of experience in treasury operations, FX back office, banking operations, accounting, controlling, RTR, or a similar finance area
Strong analytical and control mindset with the ability to resolve discrepancies
Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken
Solid knowledge of SAP/ERP systems
Strong Excel and MS Office skills, with an interest in automation and reporting
Experience with or interest in process improvement initiatives
Interest in digitalization, new technologies, and AI-supported finance processes
