What is the job about?
The Pricing Analyst plays a key role in ensuring accurate and data‑driven pricing across the DBS division. This includes managing data, performing analytical activities, and securing the correct pricing setup for products, solutions, and services.
The role also strengthens day‑to‑day pricing execution by developing tools, insights, and processes that support informed commercial decision‑making and help safeguard profitability.
Furthermore, you will:
- Support the development, improvement, and implementation of pricing tools, templates, and data models needed for effective pricing governance across DBS
- Build, run, and continuously improve global business dashboards that provide visibility into pricing performance, profitability trends, and key commercial metrics
- Support price alignment activities across geographies and divisions, ensuring coherence of price lists, discount structures, and commercial positioning.
- Conduct analyses that highlight inconsistencies, opportunities, and required adjustments
- Support pricing setup processes, including technical management of price lists and discount management, ensuring accurate configuration in relevant systems.
- Provide data‑driven insights to ensure that pricing decisions support profitability and commercial goals
- Deliver day‑to‑day pricing support to DBS entities, including data validation, price checks, and analytical insights. Conduct in‑depth data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, transforming findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or similar
- 2+ years of job experience
- Minimum 2 years of analytical experience, with strong analytical skills and proven ability to work with data
- Pricing understanding is a strong advantage
- Financial understanding, especially in margins and profitability
- Commercial and market understanding (preferred, not mandatory)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, data modeling)
- Experience with SAP, Power BI; SQL knowledge is an advantage
- Fluent English skills in writing and speaking
- Other languages – an advantage
