As our new Senior Project Manager, you will be managing the full lifecycle of engineered-to-order pump package projects, collaborating across every level of the organization to deliver turn-key solutions that exceed customer expectations while staying aligned with cost, schedule, and quality targets. What you will be doing:
As a key part of the Project Management team, you'll create impact by driving the successful delivery of complex, custom-engineered pump systems that solve critical water and industrial challenges for customers worldwide.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Develop, manage, and maintain the project lifecycle from order execution through production to completion, ensuring on time and on-budget delivery
- Conduct contract reviews to verify scope of supply including performance guarantees, documentation, calculations, and testing requirements
- Lead kick-off and project review meetings, coordinating commercial and technical aspects of pump package systems with internal teams and customers
- Determine and implement the exact needs of the customer about specifications, inquiries, coordination of project requirements and project changes to assure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
- Prepare and review EPC-type submittal documentation, component data sheets, fabricated drawings, Gantt charts, and monthly progress reports
- Determine and implement customer requirements regarding specifications, project changes, and coordination needs to meet or exceed expectations
- Drive continuous improvement by performing post-mortem analyses, identifying inefficiencies, and mentoring project managers and assistants
What makes you a great fit:
Above all, you are a results-oriented project management professional with strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills, combined with excellent organizational abilities and a knack for keeping complex technical projects on track. We would also imagine that you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred
- A minimum of 8+ years of equivalent experience in contract/project management within package system production
- Strong relationship building skills, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering on time, on-budget results
- Strong time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills demonstrating on time and on budget deliverables
- The ability to operate daily out of the Waller, TX facility in a hybrid function.
It is a plus if you also have:
- Previous experience with rotating equipment (pumps) including drivers, controls and interface within manufacturing or construction environments
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and ability to read P&ID’s, General Arrangements, and Fabrication Drawings

The salary range for this position is $91,800 to $138,275. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s & Peerless Pump Company total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Certain roles are eligible to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization.
