As our new Project Manager, you will be managing the full project lifecycle of engineered-to-order pump systems for Peerless Pump Company, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver turn-key solutions on time and on budget while exceeding customer expectations. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Peerless Pump Project Management team, you'll create impact by Driving the successful delivery of critical rotating equipment projects that keep essential water and industrial infrastructure running worldwide..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Develop, manage, and maintain the project lifecycle from order execution through production to completion, ensuring alignment with cost, time, and quality objectives
- Conduct contract reviews to verify committed scope of supply including performance guarantees, documentation, calculations, and testing requirements
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, and service teams to track delivery status, manage schedule changes, and keep project timelines on target
- Determine and implement customer requirements regarding specifications, inquiries, and project changes to assure expectations are met or exceeded
- Prepare project instructions, packing lists, checklists, progress payment notices, and status reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and optimizing project management processes to maximize deliverables and profitability
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a results-oriented project management professional with strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills, combined with excellent organizational abilities and a knack for keeping complex technical projects on track. We would also imagine that you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5+ years of equivalent experience in design, applications, or contract management
- Proven project management experience with demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint) and ability to work with technical documentation
- Valid Driver's License
- The ability to operate daily out of the Waller, TX facility in a hybrid function.
It is a plus if you also:
- Experience with rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, or similar mechanical/packaging systems
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes (welding, structural and pipe fabrication) and drawing software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or Catia)
- Experience working in a global matrix organization with cross-functional collaboration
You'll also be available for travelling up to 10% of the time per year.

The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $110,000. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s & Peerless Pump Company total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Certain roles are eligible to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization.
