Sales Engineer, IND - Finland

As our new native Finnish speaker Sales Engineer, IND - Finland, you will be driving technical sales for industrial pump solutions across Finland, building strong customer relationships and delivering tailored solutions that meet the demanding needs of industrial applications. This Sales Engineer would cover South-West Finland, ideal location is in proximity to Turku.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Industrial Sales, Nordics team, you'll create impact by partnering with industrial customers to deliver energy-efficient, reliable pumping solutions that reduce operational costs and support sustainable water management across Finland..

Your main responsibilities include:

 

  • Develop and manage key industrial customer accounts across Finland, driving revenue growth and market share
  • Provide technical consultation and sizing of Grundfos industrial pump solutions for applications such as process water, cooling, chemical dosing and wastewater
  • Collaborate with consulting engineers, contractors, and end-users to specify optimal solutions for industrial projects
  • Identify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, market analysis, and participation in industry events
  • Work closely with internal teams including application engineers, customer service, and product management to ensure seamless project execution
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, proposals, and quotations

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a technically skilled sales professional with a strong understanding of industrial pump applications, a consultative selling approach, and the drive to build lasting customer partnerships. We would also imagine that you have:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a related technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in technical B2B sales within pumps, rotating equipment, or industrial fluid handling
  • Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex product specifications

 

It is a plus if you also:

 

  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Existing network within OEM manufacturers
  • Existing network within Finnish industrial sectors such as pulp & paper, mining, or manufacturing
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency standards and lifecycle cost analysis for industrial equipment

You'll also be available for travelling up to 80 days per year.
