As our new Service Engineer, you will be delivering expert technical service, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Grundfos pump systems and water technology solutions across a diverse range of customer installations. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Commercial Service team, you'll create impact by Ensuring maximum uptime and optimal performance of water infrastructure that communities and industries depend on every day.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and start-up of Grundfos pump systems and related equipment
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues in the field
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and recommend system upgrades to optimize performance
- Provide technical guidance and training to customers on proper operation and maintenance of equipment
- Document all service activities, generate detailed reports, and maintain accurate records in service management systems
- Collaborate with sales and application engineering teams to identify opportunities for service agreements and retrofits
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a hands-on technical problem solver with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, excellent customer-facing skills, and a drive to keep critical systems running. We would also imagine that you have:
- 3+ years of experience in field service, maintenance, or commissioning of pumps, rotating equipment, or industrial mechanical systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and VFDs
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites regularly
It is a plus if you also:
- Experience with Grundfos products or similar centrifugal pump technologies
- Familiarity with BMS/SCADA integration and communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet)
- Relevant technical certification or degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related trade
