Job Description

As our new Senior Sales Development Engineer, IND – D&D, you will lead business development and technical sales across the SOUTH Area. You will combine strong application expertise with a proactive, customer-facing approach, working in a diverse and inclusive environment that values growth, well-being, and collaboration.

What you will be doing

As part of the EU Dosing Sales Team, you will drive sustainable growth by expanding our customer base, strengthening partnerships, and promoting Grundfos solutions in water treatment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities and assess feasibility for dosing and disinfection solutions
  • Execute sales plans, grow existing accounts, and develop new customers
  • Provide technical guidance to customers, consultants, and partners
  • Gather market insights and competitor intelligence to support business strategy
  • Deliver product training and support team development
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and ensure proper opportunity tracking

What makes you a great fit

You are a technically skilled sales professional with strong knowledge of dosing and disinfection, experience in value selling, and the ability to influence stakeholders.

We expect:

  • 7+ years of experience in technical sales (water treatment, dosing, or disinfection preferred)
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, channels, and customers
  • Experience in international industrial environments

It is a plus if you have:

  • Experience in companies operating in water treatment dosing systems or similar industries
  • Experience with SAP BW or similar tools
  • Knowledge of value selling in process industries
