Join Our Team as a Sales Manager OEM for Italy & Iberia!


Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Grundfos Italy is seeking a dynamic and driven Area Sales Manager to become a key player in our Industry OEM Division. In this exciting role, you'll be reporting to the Industry Sales Director – South Europe.

 

Your primary mission as the Sales Manager is to lead the external OEM sales team in Italy and Iberia, driving exceptional sales growth and profitability. This role demands a keen focus on your department’s performance and P/L (PMA).

 

Building and nurturing strong customer relationships within your designated area is crucial. You ensure seamless collaboration across all local functional areas, aligning efforts towards unified business objectives.

 

Moreover, you foster a motivated and cohesive team spirit, promoting a sense of belonging to a single, unified company.

 

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

 

  • Support, motivate, energize, challenge, and develop the team to maximize sales effort and effectiveness.
  • Participate in on-site customer co-visits with team members for coaching and motivation.
  • Drive the yearly pricing policy and ensure its implementation and adherence within the team.
  • Ensure correct utilization of the pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability, cost, and collections, and manage to the agreed budget (PMA).
  • Review and negotiate substantial orders, framework agreements, and rebates according to DOA.
  • Ensure the team works according to Grundfos best practices and utilizes the processes and tools.
  • You are responsible for employee motivation and fostering a sense of belonging to Grundfos and the local site.
  • Manage difficult situations within the team, such as performance or collaboration issues.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks or projects as required.

What do you need to apply:

 

  • Degree in Business and/or Engineering combined with at least 7-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a large international company.
  • Experience working at Grundfos in a Sales Manager role, preferably with OEM.
  • Proven track record in managing people across borders.
