Trade Marketing Executive
Job Description

What is the job about?

 

We’re looking for a motivated marketer to grow our brand presence and business impact through the trade channel for Grundfos Domestic segment. Responsible for trade marketing across India, the ideal candidate will be a strong team player who creates and deploys effective retail marketing strategies to boosts product visibility and buyer interest. The role is best suited for an experienced self-starter to live up to our focus on securing top position in premium domestic water solutions category.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

• Develop and execute the Trade marketing plan in line with sales and marketing objectives for India while effectively spending allocated budgets
• Improve Grundfos brand presence across trade channel through excellence in in-store planning, execution, and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing priorities
• Secure prime branding position and visibility of Grundfos products at retail outlets
• Conceptualize and execute trade promotions and incentive schemes in collaboration with sales and distributors
• Maintain pulse on the market and monitor competitor behavior and practices
• Be the brand custodian and visiting the points of sale regularly to ensure that the brand is visible, presentable and guidelines are respected
• Collaborate with sales to create distributor/channel partner annual plans covering marketing activities (offline & online) in line with business needs and reality
• Source and distribute brand merchandise to relevant stakeholders in trade channel
• Develop impactful product launches that covers both push & pull marketing through the channel
• Develop and maintain strong relationship with channel partners and their sales & marketing teams
• Align with global marketing team for localization and adaptation of global campaign assets
• Maintain stock visibility at retail outlets
• Maintain positive relationships with suppliers for timely delivery of events, campaign and marketing stock items

 

                        

Your Background:

 

  • 5+ years’ experience of trade/channel marketing for a premium brand in building materials, hardware, home appliances, sanitary industry.
  • Strong experience in developing and executing promotional campaigns to drive sales through trade channel.
  • Working experience in developing key account plans covering sales-out activities and targets.
  • Understanding and experience of running online marketing campaigns.
  • Project management experience coupled with brand activation/events management.
