Join the Talent Acquisition Team

We are looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented individual to join our global Talent Acquisition team. Reporting directly to the Talent Acquisition Delivery Manager, APAC and China, you will join a global team of experienced recruiters and get a fantastic opportunity to work and develop your skills in a truly global environment.  

 

Talent Acquisition is part of our People and Organizational Growth (POG) organisation, which provides a single point of contact for all employees regarding HR-related issues. The aim is to provide quality, add value, and create global consistency in all HR-related processes. The Talent Acquisition value stream is a pivotal and successful part of our HR and covers recruitment and on- and off-boarding processes across the globe. 

 

What is the job about? 

Location is preferably Tokyo or Hamamatsu. Your primary task is to drive end-to-end recruitments, find the right candidates, and support Hiring Managers primarily in Japan – but also across the APAC region. You will collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand the business needs and define the recruitment plan and strategy for each vacancy - ensuring that high-quality is delivered on all recruitments.  

 

Moreover, by utilising our first-class recruitment system and tools, you will handle the entire recruitment process to: 

  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand the business needs

  • Conduct Recruitment Planning Meetings to agree on a suitable strategy, set clear expectations on time frames, etc.

  • Prepare attractive Job Advertisements that align with Global guidelines

  • Full utilization of the Success Factors Recruitment system as per the Global process

  • Source active and passive candidates through a variety of tools, i.e., LinkedIn, DODA, MyNavi

  • Where required, maintain and establish vendor relationships and negotiate the best rates

  • Screen candidates against required skills and company-identified competencies via a range of methods, i.e., application questions/phone interviews

  • Manage stakeholder expectations through timely communication to Hiring Managers and Candidates

  • Provide the final shortlist of candidates to Hiring Managers promptly and schedule interviews accordingly

  • Facilitate the Cammio Video interview as required

  • Execute interviews together with Hiring Managers

  • Provide Salary Offers in close partnership with the Compensation and Benefits Management Team to adhere to global C&B policy

  • Visits other Grundfos Japan offices when required, i.e., Tokyo, Hamamatsu, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka, to meet face-to-face with stakeholders

  • If required, present and negotiate job offers to candidates, obtaining acceptance

 

What do you need to apply? 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience recruiting within an agency or a corporate environment, and knowledge of the Japanese job market, job boards, and vendors (a large manufacturing environment is strongly preferred)

  • Experience and ability in independently driving recruitment processes

  • Possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws, and regulations when applying for the recruitment and HR area

  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System, i.e., SuccessFactors, is an advantage

  • Creative approach and experience sourcing using a range of techniques- LinkedIn Recruiter experience desirable

  • Performing talent pool searches and productive talent interviewing 

  • A native Japanese speaker with strong English communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to build trust and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Experience working with a Recruitment candidate management system is desirable

  • Ability to handle confidential and personal information with the utmost integrity

  • Results-oriented approach and experience within a fast-paced environment

  • Confidence to encourage Hiring Managers to 'think outside the box
