As our new Associate Sales Engineer, you will be developing and expanding OEM sales opportunities in the Mumbai region while nurturing existing customer relationships to strengthen Grundfos's market share and business results. What you will be doing

As a key part of the OEM Sales - Industry team, you'll create impact by Building strategic partnerships with Direct OEMs and sharing critical market intelligence across teams to accelerate Grundfos's competitive position in the Indian market..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Develop new sales opportunities with Direct OEM customers for energy efficient pumps solution.
  • Maintain and grow recurring business with existing OEM accounts through proactive relationship management
  • Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and stakeholder movements, sharing insights across the team and Product Units
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored technical solutions that meet OEM requirements
  • Prepare and present technical proposals, pricing strategies, and product demonstrations to prospective and existing clients
  • Contribute to regional sales targets and report on pipeline progress, forecasts, and market trends

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a technically sharp sales professional with hands-on experience in electric motors, VFDs, or water treatment products, combined with strong relationship-building skills and a keen eye for market opportunities. We would also imagine that you have:

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in either pumps, electric motors, VFDs, and/or water treatment products
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline)
  • Proven track record in OEM sales or technical sales within industrial products
  • Strong understanding of the Mumbai/Western India industrial market landscape

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience working with pump systems or related fluid technology products
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce for pipeline and account management
  • Knowledge of energy-efficient solutions and sustainability trends in industrial applications
