Senior Product Development Engineer (Test Engineer)

What is the job about? 

You will join a great team, that includes numerous qualified and dedicated engineers and technicians primarily placed in Hungary, Germany and Denmark and organized in agile, cross-functional teams. You will report to the Head of Dosing and Disinfection Mikkel Børlum Petersen:

This role will be based in Székesfehérvár, Hungary

 

Your main responsibilities: 

  • Continuous improvement and maintenance of test setups, systems working closely with the lab technicians.
  • Direct the daily operations of the testing laboratories to ensure accurate and timely performance testing of products.
  • Contribute to requirements writing, integration and verification strategy deployment combining components.
  • Contribute to test case writing and execution.
  • Take ownership in verification activities including documentation.
  • Give feedback based on verification results to product maintenance teams.
  • Support prototype validation and external testing activities.
  • The agile team is highly self-organized. It decides independently how experience and skills can best be used to solve the tasks in the backlog.
  • Travel Requirement: Expectations include occasional travel to Pfinztal, though not extensively. Approximately 2-3 weeks of travel per year may be required.

Your background:

  • We imagine that you have:
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or in a related field and knowledge in some of the following areas:
  • Definition, execution, and evaluation of tests.
  • Have 5+ years of experience as a test engineer or in a similar role
  • Experience with testing water pumps or similar fluid handling equipment is a plus
