Leadership
Technical Supervisor
Job Description

Are you a hands-on technical leader who thrives on coaching teams, improving processes, and ensuring stable, high-performing production operations? Then join our mission to pioneer smarter water solutions that reduce energy use and improve lives.

As our new Technical Supervisor, you’ll lead and develop a technical team on the shop floor through active coaching, structured problem-solving and systematic follow-up. Your focus will be on stable operations and continuous improvement of our production processes.

You’ll join a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture where we celebrate our differences and put people first by fostering growth, well-being and a sense of belonging.

What you will be doing

As part of the Operational Technical Support team, you’ll drive measurable improvements in quality and process performance through data-driven initiatives, people development and implementation of GPS principles across the APU.

The stainless steel factory is a high-volume manufacturing facility producing approximately 264 million components annually. Its broad production setup includes machines and a cataphoresis surface setup, enabling efficient and flexible production of stainless steel components and rotor solutions.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Coach and provide feedback on the shop floor, review problem-solving activities and ensure the right methods are applied based on complexity
  • Execute regular process confirmations, including 5S, safety, standard work and equipment checks, and follow up on deviations
  • Lead structured totem meetings across Production, Quality and Maintenance, ensuring clear actions and accountability
  • Review and update department action plans, assess whether actions are sufficient and follow up on progress
  • Present KPI status at factory board meetings, including analysis and action plan updates
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings, support employee well-being and development, and strengthen team competencies through professional sparring

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you’re a structured, people-oriented technical leader with strong analytical skills, a passion for process optimization and the ability to engage and develop a team in a production environment.

We imagine that you have:

  • A technical education such as engineer, production technologist, process technician, marine engineer or similar
  • 3+ years of experience leading a technical team, preferably within maintenance or manufacturing
  • Experience with quality management and process optimization in production
  • Strong analytical skills and an understanding of data-driven decision-making

It’s a plus if you also have:

  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with GPS (Grundfos Production System) or similar production systems
  • Familiarity with IMS and QMS compliance frameworks

Why you’ll love working here

Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well-being
  • Three additional paid days for volunteering
  • On-demand training and structured development programmes to support your growth

Valuing our differences helps us see possibilities where others can’t. We welcome applications from all abilities, experiences and backgrounds.

As part of our commitment to a safe and compliant hiring process, final candidates may be required to undergo a background check, subject to applicable local laws and regulations.
