As a Technical Supervisor, your main purpose will be to ensure stable operations and drive ongoing improvements in our production processes through strong leadership, professional sparring, and systematic follow-up.
You will play a central role in supporting team development and well-being while implementing GPS principles and action plans. You will join one of our APUs (autonomous production unit) producing electronic components and work closely with both employees and fellow leaders to achieve our goals and create a culture of growth and engagement.
About the position
As a Technical Supervisor, you will take a hands-on leadership role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement within our APU. Your responsibilities span from active coaching on the shop floor to process optimization, problem-solving, and systematic follow-up on action plans. You will ensure that GPS principles are implemented effectively, foster team development, and maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. This role also involves close collaboration with stakeholders and other leaders to secure progress and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and provide feedback on the shop floor to strengthen team competencies
- Ensure effective problem-solving and apply the right methods for each situation
- Perform regular process confirmations (e.g., 5S, safety, standard work) and follow up on deviations
- Monitor and update action plans, ensuring progress and accountability
- Present KPI status and lead structured meetings focused on clear actions and results
- Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead and develop team members, fostering well-being and competence growth
What you bring

Furthermore, we imagine that you have:
- Technical degree (e.g., engineer, production technologist, marine engineer, or similar).
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading a technical team.
- Proven experience with Manufacturing engineering, Quality principles and process optimization.
- Strong skills in data-driven decision-making and performance analysis.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies (advantage).
- Proficiency in English at a conversational level.
- Ability to analyze financial data and optimize budget utilization.
