As part of our dynamic supply chain environment, the Shipping Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth global product flows, reliable deliveries, and strong support to production, Distribution Centers (DCs), customers, and internal partners.

 

Job Purpose

The Shipping Coordinator ensures efficient planning, coordination, and execution of shipping activities to support suppliers, production, DCs, and customers. The role contributes to daily logistics operations, service level performance, compliance, and continuous improvement within the shipping and DC logistics function, including the contribution in the optimization of SAP Transport Management- and relevant processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Execute daily shipping tasks in accordance with plans and deadlines.

· Ensure timely preparation of shipping documentation and follow-up on bookings with forwarders and 3PLs.

· Create certificates of origin through Chamber of Commerce platforms.

· Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Sales, CSSC, customers, plants, 3PLs, and carriers.

· Act proactively on logistics disruptions and align corrective actions with partners.

· Handle shipping-related quality incidents during transit.

· Provide import customs instructions (SEA/AIR/Courier) and track deliveries.

· Prepare data for export declarations handled by external partners.

· Create and verify logistics invoices and coordinate with DCs/forwarders.

· Calculate and provide transport quotes, including complex requests.

· Support continuous improvement and logistics process optimization initiatives.

· Contribute to SAP Transport Management developments and user support in collaboration with Logistics Execution Excellence.

· Control and validate freight forwarder invoices and manage disputes when required.

 

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor/Master Preferred degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field, or minimum 2 years of experience in shipping/transportation.

· Confident English communication skills (written and spoken).

· Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

· Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented mindset.

· Effective internal and external stakeholder management.

· Customer-centric approach and strong teamwork skills.

· MS Office proficiency.

· SAP Logistics Execution (LE) and Transport Management (TM) modules experience is an advantage.
