Manufacturing
Project Support Engineer
Job Description

Are you passionate about turning engineering concepts into reality on the production floor — from designing process changes to launching new products? Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people.

As our new Project Support Engineer, you will be designing, preparing, and implementing technological and process modifications at our Tatabánya engine plant while providing full technical support for new product introductions. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, you'll create impact by Driving the successful introduction of new products and technologies that strengthen our production capabilities and advance sustainable pump solutions worldwide.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Design technical changes and prepare decision proposals for process approval, coordinating with Quality, Logistics, and ME Engineering
  • Collaborate with development departments (POD, AME) throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Coordinate technical execution of new product introductions — including machine installation, workstation setup, and production line modifications — in alignment with project managers and global teams
  • Manage the full handover–acceptance process for machines and manufacturing technology, including complete documentation
  • Request supplier quotations, coordinate contracted partners, and track the technical portion of project budgets
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation such as PFMEA, Control Plans, and Work Instructions

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a hands-on engineering professional with strong project coordination skills, deep knowledge of manufacturing technology, and the confidence to lead cross-functional processes without direct reports. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in an engineering field with 3–4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or process engineering
  • Proven ability to manage processes and coordinate technical projects within a production environment
  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing technology — plans, processes, and related local regulations
  • Confident English skills, both spoken and written

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and structured product introduction methodologies
  • Background in cost efficiency improvement initiatives within a manufacturing setting
  • Familiarity with ERP or project management tools used in production environments

Why you will love working here

We care! Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well-being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering in your community.
  • Access to on-demand training and learning sessions and carefully structured programmes to pursue personal and professional development opportunities.

We are inclusive! Celebrating and valuing our differences helps us see possibilities where others can't. We therefore welcome and encourage applications from all abilities, experiences, and backgrounds.
