APU Manager
Job Description

What is the job about?

As an APU Manager, you will be responsible for the performance of SQDICP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Cost, and People) within the APU. You will lead and inspire your team  of 220-250 employees through guidance, coaching, and motivation, ensuring alignment with the factory’s strategy and driving continuous improvement.  This position is ideal for junior leaders looking to develop their skills and advance within the management team, with the potential to grow into senior roles in the future.

 

Among other exciting tasks, you will:

  • Ensure that the team understands and aligns with the factory’s strategy.
  • Train and develop the team to achieve strong results and adhere to standards.
  • Facilitate day-to-day business operations and foster clear communication between teams.
  • Promote a common understanding of Grundfos strategy within the APU.
  • Be a role model for our Code of Conduct.
  • Prioritize meeting customer needs as a core responsibility.
  • Actively participate in capacity expansion projects, contributing to the growth and efficiency of the production area.

 

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in engineering or a similar field.
  • Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, making this role perfect for junior professionals eager to step into leadership roles.
  • Excellent knowledge of Lean methodologies.
  • Proficient English skills – both verbal and written.
  • A proactive, charismatic personality with strong interpersonal and cooperative skills.
  • A structured and conscientious approach, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables.
  • A strong leadership affinity and a passion for technical excellence, capable of inspiring teams and driving operational success.
