Are you passionate about engineering excellence in the water utility sector and driven by the challenge of delivering winning solutions for complex international projects? Join us in our mission to pioneer smarter ways of moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and improving quality of life worldwide.

As our new Senior Proposal Engineer, you will prepare techno-commercial quotations and technical submittals for international Water Utility projects. Working closely with global sales teams, you will drive accurate pump sizing, product selection, and competitive proposal delivery. You will be part of a diverse, supportive, and inclusive culture that celebrates differences, prioritizes people, and fosters growth, well-being, and belonging.

What you will be doing

As a key member of the Global Advanced Technical Sales team, you will make a direct impact by delivering reliable and competitive proposals that help secure critical water infrastructure projects around the world.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing techno-commercial quotations, technical submittals, and supporting documentation for international Water Utility projects.
  • Reviewing tender requirements, performing pump sizing and product selection, and ensuring compliance with customer specifications.
  • Supporting sales organizations with technical clarifications and proposal-related activities throughout the quotation process.
  • Collaborating with factories, product specialists, and sales companies to ensure accurate, timely, and competitive proposals.
  • Following pricing, approval, and opportunity management processes to maintain proposal quality and consistency.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of proposal tools, processes, and project execution support.

What makes you a great fit

You are a technically strong, customer-focused engineer with solid Water Utility expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a global, cross-functional environment.

We imagine that you have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Water Utility industry, including technical quotations, tenders, and proposal preparation.
  • Knowledge of Water Utility products and applications, including pumps, mixers, dosing equipment, and related systems.
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, with strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

It is an advantage if you also have:

  • Experience supporting utilities, consultants, contractors, or engineering companies.
  • Experience with SAP CRM or similar business systems; CAD knowledge is a plus.
  • Additional language skills beyond English.

Why you will love working here

We care about your success and well-being. You can look forward to:

  • Flexible working arrangements, including home-working opportunities and parental support.
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance, and a strong focus on well-being initiatives.
  • Access to on-demand learning, training programs, and structured development opportunities to support your personal and professional growth.
