The Global Planning function operates across all planning horizons within our differentiated Value Chains. You will be offered the opportunity to join the process excellence team, with reference to the Senior Supply Chain Excellence Manager. What is the job about?

Your role as Senior Process Expert will cover deep process knowledge of how Grundfos is executing the supply chain planning processes and transferring your knowledge into innovative and continuous improvements with a global perspective.

In the position as Senior Process Expert, the tasks are characterized by having a high complexity and scale and cover supply chain planning processes in a wide perspective and with a high improvement impact. Tasks at hand can range from minor and quick improvements to big and complex projects and last from a few hours’ work to initiatives running for months or years. You will participate or have a driving role in projects and tasks originating from strategic initiatives.

As Global Planning is a function with interfaces towards several functions within Grundfos, you will have close collaboration with colleagues and key stakeholders within the whole Grundfos group.

 

Your responsibilities:

·       Develop, implement and deploy global best practices and solutions through continuous improvements and tactical/strategic projects throughout the Sales Planning processes. This includes identifying improvement opportunities, scoping of tasks/projects, planning and executing the tasks and ensuring proper deployment and anchoring in the organization.

·       Solve issues and act as an expert in supporting the operational side of executing the Sales Planning processes in case of major or more complex issues.

·       The position applies knowledge and skills globally across multiple functions and organizational levels. It has a deep level of knowledge within Sales Planning processes and system solutions.

·       The support is based on adherence to current best practices as tracked through e.g. performance and process indicators.

·       Own, maintain and execute training in processes, analytics, tools and methods together with the Global Forecasting Team. Drive and participate in the design and improvement of global training activities. Maintain all relevant documentation within the process area.         

 

 

Your background:
We imagine that you have:

·       Relevant educational background degree within Supply Chain or logistics or similar work experience

·       Most likely 5-6 years of relevant work experience before entering level besides formal education.

·       E2E Supply chain understanding preferable within supply chain planning processes

·       Experience with demand planning is an advantage

·       Possess industry experience within a business environment; experience working in a large (discrete) manufacturing environment is strongly preferred

·       Experience in SAP is an advantage, preferably in IBP

·       Ability and interest to understand local and global processes

·       Intercultural understanding

·       Interest in how to use digital solutions

·       Communicate effortlessly in English, both in writing and spoken.
