About the role:
In this role You will apply a deep and broad knowledge base and technical/business understanding to independently initiate, support, and coordinate supply chain development activities throughout the process development. Improve supply chain performance and key performance indicators while effectively supporting leadership and sales initiatives. Benchmark with sister companies and implement best practices. Take responsibility for GPS roadmaps, participate in GPPM, and coordinate SIOE-SIOP-GPPM communication, segmentation, and cycle calculations. Utilize strong analytical, process, and SAP skills to support decision-making and follow-up on supply chain execution.
In this position you will be based in Székesfehérvár.
Your responsibilities:
- Learn and support supply chain processes such as production planning, supply planning, master planning, and warehousing; identify and implement development opportunities.
- Benchmark against other plants and implement best practices.
- Continuously develop professional knowledge through forums like Planning Network and Viva Engage, sharing this knowledge with the team.
- Optimize stock levels and support inventory/SLOB projection activities and actions.
- Manage complex tasks and change management from a supply chain perspective, particularly ECM processes.
- Support the Supply Chain Department in achieving strategic goals and annual targets, independently finding ways to improve all SC areas and initiating necessary actions.
- Participate in projects and developments, ensuring smooth implementation from a supply chain perspective.
- Support cross-functional and division-level communication on forums like SIOE, SIOP, and GPPM, representing the plant in these meetings.
- Support operational execution with data and information.
- Undertake other tasks as assigned by the plant manager.
Your background:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to initiate new initiatives and execute them independently.
- High-level independent decision-making, follow-up, and adherence to deadlines in project and action plan development.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Effective communication and alignment with planners, procurers, and international teams.
- Experience in supporting key business initiatives.
- Knowledge of relevant practices and systems in planning.
- Proficient in SAP and Excel.
- Proficient in English.
- Experience in automation, Power BI, etc., is an advantage.
