What is the job about?
As a Service Specialist you will apply expert technical knowledge and after-sales service to the regional/global market for Grundfos supplied services and solutions. Responsible for maintaining and developing service programs for products, service centres and partners and troubleshooting methodology for new and existing products. Demonstrates high degree of understanding of customer needs. You will become part of Global Service & Solutions where you will be a part of an international and dynamic team (team members are located in Denmark, China and Hungary). You will report to Ole Lund Markussen, Head of Serviceability, Service & Solutions.

Your primary tasks involve but not limited to:

  • Contribute to the product development phase where you play a key role in ensuring end-to-end serviceability as well as challenge the development teams on “designed for service"
  • Contribute to maintenance of Service Part portfolio
  • Provide after-sales service technical expertise - at pump and system/application level
  • Offer expertise technical support to the service technicians in connection with specific service cases
  • Provide service-related product training and technical support to customers and colleagues for new and existing products and their applications
  • Participate in new product introductions and related training activities

What do you need to apply?

  • Hold a Technical or Engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Hydraulic)
  • High Technical understanding, ideally within pump design and pump application from a Service perspective
  • 2-3 years of  experience (preferably in a large manufacturing environment, within Service or Maintenance of industrial equipment)
  • Fluent in English and Hungarian 
  • Experience managing defined processes within the service environment
  • User level of MS Office and ERP systems (we work in SAP)
  • Having a well developed interpersonal and communication skills and a customer centric mindset
  • Willingness to travel 20-30 travel days per year
