Logistics, Supply Chain & Purchasing
Senior Sustainable Sourcing Coordinator
Job Description

Would you like to take ownership of supplier chemical compliance processes and supporting the digital transformation of sustainable sourcing within a global Purchasing organization?

If you are passionate about sustainability, enjoy working with data, systems and suppliers, and want to drive real impact on product compliance and responsible sourcing, this role is for you.

What is the job about?

As a Senior Sustainable Sourcing Coordinator, you will be fully responsible for coordinating and managing end‑to‑end compliance data collection activities (MDS, CMD, Family requests) and ensuring high‑quality and timely documentation across our supply base. You will work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders and global compliance teams, contributing directly to our sustainable sourcing ambitions and regulatory compliance goals.

This role is highly collaborative, cross‑functional and international — requiring strong communication skills, work structure, stakeholder management and the ability to independently drive processes forward. On top of your own supplier base and compliance area, you’ll work with the rest of the team members to ensure projects are progressing, help with reporting, coordinate tasks, provide guidance and support your Supervisor as needed.

Your main responsibilities

· Manage the full lifecycle of MDS, CMD and Family requests — collection, handling, coordination and administration

· Monitor and assure the quality, accuracy and completeness of all compliance‑related data

· Provide professional support and training to suppliers on digital compliance platforms

· Use SAP at user level to maintain up‑to‑date compliance and procurement information

· Formulate development needs for the CDX platform and contribute to system/user interface improvements

· Manage and track the CDX vendor onboarding process

· Deliver on KPIs and prepare regular status reports for relevant stakeholder groups

· Proactively utilize internal escalation channels to resolve supplier‑related issues

· Participate in risk assessment, audits and compliance reviews

· Develop and update compliance process descriptions, SOPs and guidelines

· Support preparation for external audits and provide related documentation

· Collaborate with sustainability, purchasing, compliance and legal colleagues across the organization

· Support your Supervisor with task management and reporting

Your success in this role will be measured by

· Timely and complete delivery of MDS / CMD / Family requests

· Strong performance in CDX vendor onboarding

· Achievement of Sustainable Sourcing KPIs

· High stakeholder satisfaction

· Accurate and up‑to‑date compliance status across relevant materials

Your background

· 3–4 years of relevant professional experience

· University degree (preferably in environmental science, sustainability, compliance, supply chain or similar fields)

· User-level knowledge of SAP

· Experience in sustainability, product compliance or procurement compliance

· Confident English skills (written and spoken)

Your competencies

· Strong motivation and dedication to sustainability

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Precise, structured, quality-oriented working style

· Strong coordination and organizational abilities

· Proactive, solution-oriented and independent mindset

· Ability to manage several projects simultaneously

· Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge

· Experience with SAP, Sievo or similar procurement/compliance systems

What’s in it for you?

Whether you want to deepen your sustainability and compliance expertise or expand your capabilities in digital platforms and stakeholder management, we support your development with continuous learning opportunities and a collaborative, trust‑based environment.

Your benefits include:

· Flexible working environment with the option to work from home and access to modern office space

· International environment with diverse colleagues

· Opportunities to influence sustainability and compliance practices
