Senior Quality Engineer
Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our international team. You’ll play a key role in driving and supporting quality in development projects, collaborating with global colleagues across China, the USA, Denmark, and Germany.

The position is open in Hungary (Székesfehérvár) but we consider the near cities around too. (Biatorbágy, Törökbálint) 

 

Work Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours/week) 

 

What you’ll do

  • Create and manage quality plans aligned with internal and industry standards 
  • Set KPIs, track quality metrics, and ensure design compliance with product and customer requirements 
  • Identify and mitigate quality risks throughout the design and development process 
  • Collaborate with project, supplier, and operations teams across all stages of development 
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO14000) 
  • Drive continuous improvement through audits, root cause analysis, and lessons learned 
  • Maintain quality documentation and follow up on warranty data and critical issues 

 

What you bring

  • 8+ years of experience in quality control or related fields 
  • Technical background (Electrical, Software, Chemistry, Pharma, Automotive, Food, etc.) 
  • Experience working in or with production environments 
  • Skilled in FMEA, 8D, auditing, and quality tools 
  • Comfortable with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Stage Gate) 
  •  Proficiency in English, both spoken and written 
  • Jira knowledge is a plus 
  • Previous experience as an individual contributor
