What is the job about?
In this position, you will Support Product Development and PLM tasks for prototyping, troubleshooting and tests for securing product compliance and validation.
Your main responsibilities:
- Perform mechatronics tasks: prototype building, debugging, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Develop, test, and document products by building prototypes and conducting performance tests.
- Conduct accredited tests by relevant standards.
- Analyze and test in controlled environments, including failure analysis on returned units.
- Investigate environmental influences and certify measurements.
- Address tasks/issues from product development engineers using best practices.
- Ensure product quality through standard testing methods.
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain testing tools.
- Improve test method descriptions.
- Experience as a technician is a plus.
Your background:
We imagine that you have:
- Mechatronics Technician/Engineer or similar education
- Category B driving license
- High integrity and honesty are the foundation in your work.
- Open and positive approach towards other people and meeting them at eye level.
- Communication skills in English
- Self-driven and with focus on value creation for Grundfos, speaks up to push the bar
- Working independently with little guidance and with a strong sense for quality and detail
