We are expanding our development function with a new site in Hungary to be able to support all the requirements of our business. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with hands-on design skills to support this
“In this role, you have a high degree of freedom. Working closely with highly specialised and knowledgeable product developers, always with the mechanical parts in focus. The tasks of the team are diverse and require collaboration across the value chain” – says the hiring manager, Charlotte Jensen (Capability Manager).
Your main responsibilities:
- Contribute to technical updates and improvements to the product programs.
- Verify design solutions by FEA simulations in Ansys and/or defining and utilizing tests
- Prepare documentation in compliance with legislation, Grundfos processes, standards, and best practice (2D drawings, 3D models, tolerances GPS, tolerance chains, Robust Design, SAP data etc).
- Support production e.g., problem solving and act as the link between Development and Production
- Contact suppliers during development phase. Discussing design for manufacturing or assembly
Your background:
We imagine that you
• Are a team-players thriving in a global collaboration environment.
• Have some experience within product development, preferably from a multi-domain environment.
• Have knowledge on quality assurance, product compliance and requirement management.
• Communicate effortlessly in English.
• Have a min. a bachelor´s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar educational background
• Are willing to commute to our Tatabánya plant 1-2 times a week.
