Senior Product Development Engineer – Product Line Management
Do you want more control of your own development and your daily work life? Do you have experience in maintaining products containing integrated mechanical and electronic elements? And are you looking for an exciting and challenging position in which you will be involved in maintaining all our great products within the Dosing and Disinfection product area?
In this position you will be based at our Szekesfehérvár site but work in one of our global Scrum teams together with colleagues primarily based at our Pfinztal site in Germany. As the core competence site for our Dosing & Disinfection products are in Pfinztal you should expect an initial 3-month knowledge training period with physical presence at this location.
You will work with numerous qualified and dedicated engineers and technicians primarily placed in Denmark, Hungary and Germany and organized in agile, cross-functional teams. You will report to the “Capability Manager for Electronics in Industry” Per Kjertan Thamsen:

What awaits you in this role?
The agile team you will be part of is assigned to the Dosing & Disinfection product group in the Industry division, which has full end-to-end responsibility for numerous products and solutions. As a Senior Product Development Engineer, you are responsible for the following tasks:
• Maintenance of already developed products and product solutions.
• Identification and implementation of design solutions to add value or reduce cost on existing products.
• Investigating problems with the products encountered by our customers or in our production.
The agile team is highly self-organized. It decides independently how experience and skills can best be used to solve the tasks in the backlog.
What should you bring?
You have a bachelor or master’s degree in e.g. mechatronics or mechanics with electrical engineering knowledge, combined with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience. It would be an advantage (not a requirement) if you have experience / knowledge in some of the following areas:
• Systems Engineering experience (level C training a wish)
• Experience with working with product architecture and requirements breakdown
• Experience with the technical part of working with product maintenance, e.g. from a Technical Product Manager role
• Motor or drive technology
• Fundamental knowledge in Hydraulic and Pneumatic
• Programming languages like LabView, MATLAB, Python, C
• Definition, execution and evaluation of tests
• Basic chemistry
• Working in global teams / global environment
• Working in agile scrum teams
Since we work together in a global team, you should speak English at a good level.
