Engineering
Senior Electrical Engineer - Motor & Drive Systems
Job Description

Are you passionate about engineering innovative pump solutions that help the world move water more sustainably?
Do you want to work on something bigger than day-to-day development - a major strategic initiative that will shape our future platforms? Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and improving quality of life worldwide.

As our new Senior Electrical Engineer – Motor & Drive Systems, you will be developing and engineering products and technologies within a cross-functional Scrum team, ensuring customer needs are met through robust technical solutions across the full value chain. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

What you will be doing

Leading the advancement of next-generation pump and motor technologies to strengthen sustainable groundwater solutions for customers worldwide.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Lead engineering, development, and maintenance activities across the value stream, ensuring alignment between customer needs, product features, and production capability
  • Develop, drive, and implement key motor and mechatronic technologies while managing technical product documentation
  • Specify and evaluate tests in compliance with relevant norms and product approval standards
  • Ensure knowledge sharing and mentoring across value streams and business lines, acting as the technical link between Product Development and other departments
  • Drive and deliver across product development projects while contributing to a well-functioning, self-organised Scrum team
  • Provide technical substance and input to Technical Product Owners and Lead Engineers to advance the professional area

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a detail-oriented electrical or mechatronics engineer with hands-on motor design experience, a cooperative mindset, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics (or equivalent work experience) with 5-7 years of relevant product development experience
  • Solid background in high-efficiency motor technologies (IE3, IE5) and hands-on experience with motor design tools such as Motor-CAD or SPEED
  • Proven experience managing defined processes within product development in a large-scale manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in English and Hungarian, both verbal and written

It is a plus if you also:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks in a product development context
  • Strong ability to mentor and share knowledge across teams and organisational boundaries

Why you will love working here

We care! Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well-being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering in your community.
  • Access to on-demand training and learning sessions and carefully structured programmes to pursue personal and professional development opportunities.
