Job Description

What is the job about?

The Scrum Master is a servant-leader who leads, guides and coaches the team to continuously improve their way of working. Lead and coach to ensure the team can deliver continuous value.

The Scrum Master is accountable for promoting and supporting Agile across the full value chain. Scrum Masters do this by assuring everyone understands e.g. Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values.     

 

Your main responsibilities:

The Scrum Master serves the team in several ways, including:

  • Coaching the team in self-management and cross-functionality. Being cognizant about team health and act/guide the team to ensure they continuously improve their way of working
  • Drive motivation, satisfaction, and performance of team and individuals through various People Processes.
  • Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed. Being cognizant about team health and act/guide the team to ensure they continuously improve the way of working.
  • Assuring the Product Owner understands product planning in an empirical environment. Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value and help Product Owner in understanding and practicing agility.
  • Lead the team to create high-value products
  • Removing impediments to the team’s progress across the full value chain
  • Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management. Achieving the team understanding the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items
  • Driving change in the organization that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team.
  • Develop own and other’s skills and prepare enhancements in the facilitation of Scrum events.      

 

Your background:

We imagine that you have: 

 

  • Certified as Scrum master or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ Years of experience with SCRUM and agile ways of working
  • Expert in understanding team dynamics and how teams work.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant areas or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps or other software development management tools.   
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in written English
  • Software developer or tester background (nice to have).      
  • Experience in Project Management.
