What is the job about?

In this position, you will be part of an international SCRUM team (HU, DK, CN) dedicated to the product development & maintenance of electric motors used in advanced Grundfos products across all divisions. We are developing super-efficient high-end motors for the best pumps in the world. We are looking for a mechanical engineer, who is ready to join our experienced development team and make contribution in design, simulation and product documentation.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, performance metrics, and design constraints based on product specifications and customer needs
  • Conduct thorough feasibility studies and trade-off analyses to select optimal solutions for complex technical challenges
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with system development and implementation, and propose innovative solutions to enhance system reliability, robustness, and scalability
  • Conduct analyses in connection to product changes/updates 
  • Perform cost analysis and cost reduction activities
  • Keep product documentation compliant with internal and industry standards

 

Your background:

We imagine that you have: 

 

  • Mechanical Engineer degree (Master’s, Bachelor’s or similar education)
  • 1-3 years of relevant product development experience
  • Able to understand technical drawings and production processes
  • Knowledge in job relevant tools (e.g., 3D CAD preferable Catia)
  • Experience in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in mechanical simulations (e.g., Ansys) is a plus
  • Understanding Agile principles is a plus
  • System Engineering experience is a plus
  • Proficient English – verbal and written
