About the role: 

The Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for representing production goals through central project tasks and coordinating projects. Utilizing lean philosophy, waste reduction, and risk analysis to enhance production stability, develop safe and robust processes, aiming to increase customer satisfaction and profitability. 

In this position you will be based in Székesfehérvár. 

 

Your responsibilities: 

  • Ensure the technical support for the assigned production area, maintain continuous material flow, and achieve cost and quality targets, ensuring compliance with relevant standards. 
  • Analyze processes on the shop floor. 
  • Define standards in production processes. 
  • Support and coordinate projects. 
  • Measure efficiency and key performance indicators on the shop floor. 
  • Support Quality Engineers during audits if required. 
  • Handle escalated claims. 
  • Moderate and coordinate VSM meetings as a VSM expert. 
  • Increase productivity awareness within the organization. 
  • Continuously improve their area of responsibility (tools, way of acting, reporting, etc.). 
  • Coordinate follow-up meetings with local management. 
  • Implement and develop lean philosophy within manufacturing activities. 
  • Carry out tasks delegated by the department manager. 
  • Perform tasks prescribed by the Integrated Management System to the best of their ability. 

 

The Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer works closely with the Operation Manager and other internal and external partners to ensure effective collaboration and communication for process optimization. 

 

Your background: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BSc). 
  • Experience with Lean related tools. 
  • User knowledge of MS Office. 
  • SAP knowledge is preferable. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in a production company.
