Job Description

Then you may be the one we are looking for as our new Test Software Engineer for Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.

 

Develop the future of Production test equipment for Grundfos

 

You will join our Group Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) function of more than 200 colleagues. Together, we develop innovative, robust and efficient manufacturing test equipment for our factories worldwide. You will report to Senior Manager of Test Engineering, Gábor Véninger.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing PLC and Labview Teststand solutions for production test equipment. In the area of final testing of our products, just before it is packaged and sent to our customers. Working closely with HW designer, suppliers, process specialists and Project managers.

 

 

Areas of work:

 

· Develop and commission PLC programs for our pump / motor testing equipment.

· Develop and commission test sequences in NI Labview Teststand environment for our internal production test system.

· Collaborate with electrical design colleagues to have the optimal equipment specification for the needed product tests.

· Collaborate with product developers to deploy the right test sequence into production equipment.

· Keep close collaboration with Lead and Senior engineers in production test area.

· Take part in projects for new product development, capacity expansions, optimization of tester sw. Just to mention a few.

As a person, you are creative but also highly structured, you can find the balance between challenging process ability, getting high quality and low cost. You are comfortable with challenging highly skilled specialist and working on many projects at the same time. You have an open mind-set and enjoy teamwork and collaboration with various stakeholders and external partners. Moreover, you know the value of finding the errors at an early stage of a development project and you are curious on the newest technologies to make this happen. Assertive on deadlines.

 

 

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

 

· Preferably have minimum a bachelor’s degree in engineering.

· Preferably have experience with programming production equipment for high volume production.

· Curious about new technologies, eager to develop own competences.

· Speak and write English fluently.
