Systems Consultant
Job Description

The Systems Consultant role within Grundfos entails being responsible for advisory services and the design, development, implementation and integration of complex applications. As part of this role, you will work closely with business partners to create customized system solutions. One of your key responsibilities will be to optimize the architectural design across the supported solutions, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

 

What is the job about?

As the owner of IT Solution Design in SAP S4 Hana, PtP applications, your role encompasses several responsibilities to ensure the consistent and compliant design of the solutions.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Ensure Consistent and Compliant Solution Design for the PtP applications:
  • Work with the team to ensure that the Solution Design is consistent, stable, and in compliance with audit requirements.
  • Collaboration with External Service Suppliers and Vendors:
  • Collaborate with external service suppliers and vendors to gather input and align the SAP design topics.
  • Facilitate Decision Making on SAP PtP Design:
  • Facilitate decision-making processes regarding the SAP PtP design topics between the business, project teams, and service providers.
  • Consult Business Stakeholders on Implementation:
  • Consult and advise business stakeholders on the optimal implementation of application-related business processes within SAP, based on their specific requirements.
  • Align Integration and Roadmap:
  • Work closely with the Lead Consultant and Enterprise Architecture team to align integration with other applications and establish a roadmap for future development.
  • Ensure IT Service Excellence:
  • Monitor relevant KPIs and ensure continuous improvements in collaboration with IT Partners, IT Operations, and the business to ensure IT service standards.

 

Your background:

We imagine that you have:

  • An academic degree in Computer Science, or similar
  • Significant work experience, + 5 years, in SAP as a FI/CO Systems Consultant
  • Specialist knowledge of Vendor Invoice Management
  • In-depth functional and technical knowledge in the design of an E2E value flow in relation to a business process.
  • In-depth understanding of ABAP development to a level needed to validate functional specifications. Debugging skills are a beneficial skill.
  • Preferred knowledge in ARIBA but not a must.
  • Experience in outsourced services and functionally leading consultants of a 3rd party delivery partner.
  • Experience in facilitating decision meetings, and in providing documentation for, and to drive for decisions.
  • Fluent in English language, in writing and spoken.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills towards business and IT management, as well as business end-users and IT technical personnel. Understand the diversity of the audience to ensure communication is well perceived.
