Job Description

Are you passionate about translating complex engineering challenges into world-class pump and piping system products that make a real difference? Then join our mission to pioneer smarter water solutions that reduce energy use and improve lives.
As our new Technical Product Manager, you'll be driving product development and technical standardization for pressure piping systems and pump skid solutions that deliver reliable, high-quality performance across global markets. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

What you will be doing
As a key part of the Product Management & Development team, you'll create impact by defining and standardizing global product technical requirements while leading cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent quality and innovation across all manufacturing sites.

Your main responsibilities include:
•    Translate Product Backlog items into clear, actionable requirements from an end-to-end value chain perspective, ensuring visibility, transparency, and prioritization for the Scrum Team
•    Define and standardize global product technical requirements and specifications, driving continuous product improvement initiatives, production audits, and performance monitoring
•    Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritize urgent tasks including quality Red Alerts, compliance escalations, and critical development issues
•    Own and manage the product maintenance budget, planning resources and spending aligned with strategic lifecycle requirements
•    Coordinate with internal and external capability teams—including PD Software, Architecture, Digital, and external partners—to align deliverables, specifications, and content
•    Drive toward global product warranty targets and lead root-cause analysis and resolution for field and production issues

What makes you a great fit
Above all, you're a technically strong engineer with deep expertise in pressure piping system design, a collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork, and the ability to bridge product development with global quality standards.

We'd also imagine that you are/have:
•    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
•    5+ years of pressure piping system design experience, including piping system component selection (pumps, valves, filters) according to customer requirements
•    Strong technical knowledge in product development with the ability to read and review engineering drawings
•    Proficient English skills, both verbal and written
It's a plus if you also:
•    Pump skid or split case pump development experience
•    PLC setup, application knowledge, and digital control application experience
•    Control knowledge of rotating machinery (pumps, compressors) and agile development experience

Why you'll love working here
Day to day, you can look forward to:
•    A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.
•    Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well-being activities.
•    Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering.
•    On-demand training and structured development programmes to support your growth.
