Sr. compliance specialist single stage
Job Description

What is the job about?

Ensure product safety compliance to regional and national obligations and requirements by acting as key role between our product development team and global compliance experts.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Manage product compliance for all single stage product lifecycle stages (i.e. technology, design and development, engineering/PLM, phaseout/obsolescence)
  • Define assurance plan and requirements to justify product safety compliance with close cooperation with global compliance experts.
  • Drive/support relevant compliance tasks in our tasks handling program
  • be the go-to person both for global and regional compliance requirements, working on Document of Compliance
  • support our development projects with Technical Construction Files
  • work with Global Compliance representing CBS Product Development with focus on new topics like Cyber Security, Sustainability etc.
  • Keeping up to date with new product safety obligations, requirements, legislation, standards, etc…
  • Reading up on standard, regulations, etc…
  • Receiving training, courses, conferences and other subject matter inputs

 

What do you need to apply? 

We expect you have:

  • University degree in Engineering or equivalent (preferably Electrical/Electronics) combined with a good understanding of mechanics
  • Experience working with product compliance and 3rd party approvals, preferably 5+ years
  • Experience working with product safety standards as part of product development
  • Experience with design and test of electrical/mechanical systems and the interconnection of electrical and mechanical components
  • Experience with risk assessment and compliance testing of electrical/mechanical systems
  • Fluent English (oral & written)
