What is the job about?
- Deliver internal customer satisfaction on behalf of Group Purchasing
- Make sure VPC catch up the schedule of the whole project.
- Collaborate with cross functional team to solve problems caused by suppliers or component delivery or quality issues
- Support supply chain and supplier quality to improve supplier performance on delivery , quality and VPC running
Your main responsibilities:
Value based Project related activities:
- Responsible for project related categories materials, mainly castings
- Responsible for the whole project process, the project process is in regards of BOM products purchased from external suppliers.
- Responsible for tracking the tasks to match the related projects schedule
- Technical clarification coordinator with internal and external stakeholder
- Responsible for RFQ, Cost analysis, Supplier panel and nomination alignment meeting
- Coordinate the purchasing parts process between internal and external stakeholder
- Support the creation, updating of system maintenance and tracking
Operational Procurement Management related activities
- Assist in preparing capital budgets, process budgets and project proposals (capital justifications).
- Execution of project delivered within the required LT and budget
- Support daily problems solving for the projects and supplier management.
Internal stakeholder Management related activities
- Build and maintain strong collaboration with main stakeholders .
- Proactive and regular dialog with main stakeholders internally.
- Plan and drive sourcing projects within required Grundfos sites or region
- Coordinate activities performed in the Grundfos sites within the relevant categories/clusters.
Supplier Relationship Management related activities:
- Generate project proposals, plans and objectives while working closely with management and supplier.
- Ensure each stage of the project is progressing on time and within budget
- Understand internal & external customers’ needs & expectations; Seeks to improve customer service.
- Prepare and participate in follow-up with suppliers on performance against target and agreed development activities.
- Support the follow up on project improvement initiatives.
- Be part of a team of cross-functional key stakeholders.
What do you need to apply?
We expect you have:
- Relevant commercial or technical education; Mechanical engineering background is preferred
- Knowledge of best practices and relevant practices, systems in administration and business support preferable from purchase.
- Knowledge of mechanical commodities purchasing is preferable.
- Experienced in communicating at senior executive level as well as other levels internally as well as externally (typical counterpart in relationships and strategic negotiations will be managing directors or senior executives);
- Analytical and strategic thinking and able to manage manufacturing and engineering processes.
- Preferably have 5-6 years’ experience in similar area.
- Experienced in collaborating with cross functions
- Fluent in English
