As our new Sr. Product Lifecycle Technician, you will be supporting R&D engineers in the design, development, and validation of new and existing products while ensuring seamless transfer across the full value chain. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Product Development & Engineering team, you'll create impact by Bridging the gap between engineering design and production reality, ensuring Grundfos products meet the highest standards of quality and performance..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Build, validate, verify, and document new and existing products in collaboration with product development engineers
- Receive and resolve technical tasks and issues using your expertise and best practices, working in close dialogue with engineers
- Participate actively in cross-functional project teams, contributing hands-on knowledge to drive project success
- Document results thoroughly and provide technical advice on solutions to stakeholders across D&E, Production, and Purchasing
- Lead minor processes or projects within product development, following relevant procedures and instructions
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a hands-on technical professional with deep product development experience, strong process discipline, and the ability to collaborate across engineering and production teams. We would also imagine that you have:
- 7-10 years of relevant work experience in product development or a related technical discipline
- Proven experience driving well-defined processes within product development environments
- Ability to lead minor processes or projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong documentation skills and knowledge of best practices in product development
It is a plus if you also:
- Experience supporting key business initiatives in a manufacturing or engineering organization
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management systems and tools
- Background in pump technology, water systems, or similar engineered products
