What is the job about?

• The Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the output of the Development Team and securing product development backlog which is fully aligned with customer requirement.

Your main responsibilities:

The Product Owner is accountable for the Technical Product Backlog. Product Backlog management includes:

• Represents the product development projects’ PD deliveries in the project management team, stakeholder reviews.
• Clearly expressing Product Backlog items from an end2end perspective (across value chain)
• Ordering the items in the Product Backlog to best fulfil goals and missions
• Optimizing the value of the work the Development Teams performs
• Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the Scrum Team will work on next
• Ensuring the Development Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed.
• Refinement of Epic’s cross functionally within the dependency of the Scrum team.
• Prepare forecasting, estimates, risks and budget for product development within a product group.
• Prepare short 0-12 month and long term 1-3 year Technical Product Lifecycle Management Plan as part of one consolidated Product group lifecycle plan / roadmap.
• Manager the prioritizing of urgent tasks, i.e. quality Red Alerts, compliance and development project escalations or last time buy in close collaboration with Product Manager.
• Support the shift to an agile mindset
• Align and agree on deliveries from capability pool outside PD on spec. and content (PD Software, Architecture, Digital and externals partners).

Spends majority (>70%) of time on product owner tasks 

Mandate – what this function/role can make decisions on:

• Sign-off on technical deliverables from scrum teams
• Prioritizing urgent tasks within a Product group
• Allocate activity budget within framework giver

Your background:
We imagine that you have: 

• Master or bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized technical institution.
• Ability to communicate Business Development and Product Management decisions and background.
• Certified SCRUM product owner
• Product and customer understanding
• Some experience working in cross functional teams
• Some experience from working in an international company
• Some Agile experience and change management 
• Fluent English verbal and written
• Must be willing to travel when required.
