Job Description

What is the job about?

  • Lead the development of complex and business critical product/offerings projects and strategically critical projects.
  • Drive best-practice project and program development management within Grundfos through utilization of internationally recognized governance models, tools, and processes (e.g. PRINCE2)

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Overall responsible for leading large and complex projects/release trains within a product group.
  • Responsible towards a defined Project Owner for the successful implementation and overall delivery of assigned projects within approved tolerances on Scope, Quality, Cost, Time, Benefits, and Risks.
  • Taking ownership of successful project implementation with a holistic full value chain perspective.
  • Responsible for the full lifetime of the assigned projects
  • Responsible for delivering the financial business case in the assigned projects
  • Responsible for securing project execution in compliance with the Grundfos project governance model and PRINCE2 standards, including meeting mandatory gate requirements and utilizing the GPDM tool box.
  • Perform Excellent Stakeholder Management on all levels in the organisation
  • Mentoring and coaching relevant colleagues in the PU organisation.

The Scrum Master serves the Development Team in several ways, including:

  • (Always) Coaching the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality. Being cognizant about team health and act/guide the team to ensure they continuously improve the way of working
  • Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed. Being cognizant about team health and act/guide the team to ensure they continuously improve the way of working.
  • Helping Product Owner understanding product planning in an empirical environment. Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value and help Product Owner in understanding and practicing agility.
  • Helping the Development Team to create high-value products
  • Removing impediments to the Development Team’s progress
  • Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management. Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items
  • Causing change in the organization that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team.
  • Develop own skills and prepare enhancements in the facilitation of Scrum events

 

What do you need to apply? 

  • Master or bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Business from an internationally recognized business or technical institution.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong background in leading and executing complex and/or specialized projects within product and program management.
  • Strong business acumen including financial understanding.
  • Hands-on experience with execution of strategic change management projects in a multinational matrix environment.
  • Experience with working in a LEAN Agile environment with software as well as hardware deliveries is viewed as a big advantage 
  • Visionary and driven by enthusiasm and curiosity for new technologies and developments.
  • Capable of managing several high-profile programs and project activities to completion
  • Experience being a successful people manager is an advantage
  • Understanding of the digital transformation and its possibilities, as well as hands on experience with running digitalization projects, will be a key advantage
  • Must be willing to travel when required.
