Product Development Engineer

As our new Software Engineer, you will be driving the design and development of software for Grundfos products, collaborating with senior specialists to deliver robust solutions that move seamlessly from concept to production. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Product Development Engineering team, you'll create impact by Developing software solutions that enable next-generation pump technologies and sustainable water solutions to reach customers worldwide..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Take ownership of software design and development within a defined product or technology area
  • Facilitate and support the transfer of products to the full value chain, ensuring seamless integration
  • Collaborate closely with senior and lead specialists to apply key technologies and deliver to product development projects
  • Drive and lead development processes within product development, ensuring alignment with plans and regulations
  • Ensure knowledge-sharing across teams and provide technical substance within your professional area

 

What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a collaborative and technically strong software engineer with hands-on product development experience, a talent for leading processes, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in software development within a product development environment
  • Proven ability to lead development processes or projects from design through to delivery
  • Solid knowledge of product development processes, relevant systems, and applicable standards or regulations

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience with embedded software or IoT-enabled product development
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies in a hardware-software integration context
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
