Job Role Description

As our new Product Development Engineer, you will support concept and detailed product development by designing robust mechanical parts, creating Three-Dimensional and Two-Dimensional drawings in CATIA V5, and working in an agile Scrum team to deliver market-driven solutions. What you will be doing

You will strengthen Grundfos’s technical leadership by designing components and systems that meet market needs while optimizing quality and cost.

Responsibilities:

  • Create mechanical designs and Three-Dimensional / Two-Dimensional drawings in CATIA V5 for full product development process
  • Participate in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, risk assessments and technical specifications
  • Maintain product data, Bill of Materials, design journals and other technical documents
  • Support renderings, Building Information Modeling and Computer-Aided Design models
  • Assist Product Lifecycle Management work for design, quality and cost optimization
  • Follow sprint plans and update task status to the Scrum Team and Product Owner

You are a detail-focused engineer with strong Computer-Aided Design skills and ability to deliver high-quality designs in agile teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Fluid Machinery
  • Minimum 3 years mechanical design experience in product development
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 for Two-Dimensional / Three-Dimensional Computer-Aided Design modeling

Preferred:

  • Knowledge in boosting, cooling or Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems
  • Experience with valves, sensors, control components and system integration
  • Experience in Scrum or Agile product development teams
