Job Description

Are you passionate about turning complex demand signals into a clear, actionable sales plan that shapes how an entire region operates?

As our new Demand Planning Leader, APAC, you will be owning the monthly rolling 18-month Sales Planning process for the Industry Division across APAC-converting statistical forecasts, customer insights, project pipelines and commercial intelligence into a robust regional Sales Plan that drives financial budgeting and operational planning. You will become part of a highly experienced global Demand Planning & Analytics team, working closely with regional and divisional stakeholders to further strengthen demand planning capabilities across the organization.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Global Demand Planning & Analytics team, you'll create impact by Shaping reliable demand outlooks that align commercial ambitions with operational reality across one of our fastest-growing regions.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Lead the monthly rolling 18-month Sales Planning cycle, integrating statistical, customer, order, project, market and commercial demand signals into a consolidated regional Sales Plan
  • Facilitate regional Demand Reviews — constructively challenge assumptions, identify gaps, risks and opportunities, develop scenarios and translate analysis into actionable recommendations
  • Consolidate and publish the Sales-approved regional plan in SAP IBP, documenting material assumptions and forecast changes for full transparency
  • Present the latest demand outlook, material changes, risks and opportunities in the weekly SIOE process and represent the plan in SIOP discussions to drive cross-functional alignment
  • Improve Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias and Forecast Value Add through root-cause analysis, stronger forecasting methods, demand segmentation and customer collaboration
  • Support global demand planning projects to strengthen planning practices and prepare analyses and materials for global planning forums and leadership meetings.

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are an analytically sharp, commercially curious demand planning professional who thrives on turning complex data into clear recommendations, builds trusted relationships across cultures, and has the confidence to constructively challenge assumptions with evidence. We would imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analytics or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, Sales Planning or S&OP within an international organization, including leading Demand Reviews across multiple countries
  • Solid understanding of forecast accuracy, forecast bias and forecast value add, with strong Excel and data-analysis capabilities
  • Experience with SAP IBP or a comparable planning system, and professional fluency in English

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, complex B2B markets, project business or an OEM environment across APAC
  • Familiarity with customer forecasts, key-account demand or project pipeline planning

We care! Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • A working environment built around your needs, home working opportunities
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well-being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering
