What is the job about?

The job purpose is to leverage a deep understanding of Water Treatment solutions to develop and implement effective Grundfos solutions for a growing market within the water treatment application space. This involves translating customer needs into system requirements and architectures, coordinating with various divisions and teams to ensure optimal solutions, and establishing new work processes and standards. Additionally, the role includes leading internal networks, mentoring colleagues, and serving as a liaison with universities and international networks.

Your main responsibilities:

• Use a strong application understanding for especially water treatment solutions to convert customer needs into strong Grundfos solutions for this growing marked.
• Responsible for converting the identified solutions into architecture and system of system requirements.
• Drive water treatment Co-Creation together with external partners, customers and internal stakeholders & partners, from ideation to scalable solution.
• Lead the transfer of architecture and requirements to the different divisions and product value streams.
• Proactively identify and involve key members from the divisions, GT&I and other Grundfos teams to identify the best possible solutions.
• Specify new work processes and standards for the responsible area based on organizational strategy and the mid to long-term deployment plans.
• Drive/Lead relevant internal networks within chief’s areas.
• Be a mentor for and develop the professional skills of others.
• Be point of contact for relevant universities and international networks

Your background:
We imagine that you have: 

• Background as a Lead or Chief engineer from a water treatment (or similar) company.
• Experience with system of systems architecture and requirements definitions.
• Possess industry experience within a business environment. Experience from working in a large manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Extensive industry experience with 10+ years of relevant work experience in engineering roles within design of water treatment solutions.
• Proven results from playing a key part in solution/system development initiatives in a large organization.
• Master or bachelor degree in engineering from a recognized technical institution.
• Proven experience from working in an international company.
