As our new Sales Engineer, Water Utility, you will be managing distributor relationships and driving sales growth for ground water and irrigation solutions across East Java, Bali, Nusa Tenggara, and Timor Leste territories. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Water Utility team, you'll create impact by Delivering value-added water solutions that empower dealers and end users while expanding Grundfos's presence across key emerging markets in Indonesia..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Achieve sales growth and margin targets by executing annual tactical plans across your assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and end users, delivering world-class customer service through deep technical expertise
- Provide value-added ground water and irrigation solutions with a sell-through mindset, supporting both channel partners and end customers
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers and Key Account Managers to drive profitable growth across National Key Accounts
- Conduct customer training in online and face-to-face formats, continuously building product and application expertise
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand share of wallet using Sales Excellence principles and SAP CRM
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a technically savvy sales professional with a strong track record in ground water or irrigation markets, who thrives on building trusted customer relationships and delivering results in the field. We would also imagine that you have:
- 3–5 years of technical sales experience in ground water, irrigation, agricultural water, or related water sector industries
- Strong knowledge of pumps, pumping systems, and water extraction applications (ground/river/spring/dam, solar-powered systems, filtration/treatment)
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and developing trusted customer relationships
- Willingness to be based in Surabaya (East Java) or Denpasar (Bali)
It is a plus if you also:
- Technical qualification in electrical/mechanical trade or engineering, complemented by professional sales or B2B selling certifications
- CRM proficiency, preferably SAP CRM
- Experience working for equipment manufacturers, distributors, or system solution builders serving the water sector
