Supply Chain Intern Indianapolis (Summer 2026, onsite)

Peerless Pump Company, an Indianapolis based subsidiary of Grundfos, is seeking a Supply Chain Intern for its Summer 2026 Intern Program.
The Supply Chain Intern will report to, and take functional direction from, the Materials Manager, and will operate at our Indianapolis, IN facility (onsite, Mon-Fri).
Summer Interns at Peerless Pump are given opportunities to participate in department projects with the goal to help expand their technical education and aid in completion of projects. At the end of the term, Interns will prepare a project status report to present to senior management within the company to explain impact of their project and receive direct feedback on performance.
Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship is not available for applicants for US Work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa.
The salary for this position is $20/hour.

What is the job about?
The Supply Chain Intern will work with the Materials Manager on assigned projects as directed.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Master Data Focus Project:
- Updating Master Data in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Map out current flow of make in house components and align SAP Master Data.
- Contact suppliers for country orientation of purchased parts and align SAP Master Data.

Posting, Reporting, and Work Relations
This position will work closely, and collaborate with Materials Management department, including Sr. Supply Chain Analyst, Planners/ Buyers- intern will be updating data to help support Planners/Buyers.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Working towards a B.S. in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Purchasing, Sourcing, (or related) from an accredited university *incoming 3rd or 4th year preferred
- Must be detailed oriented and possess excellent follow up skills
- Person must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

- Computer (MS Windows, Lab View, Excel)
- Ability to structure workload and prioritize tasks

- WM experience in SAP an advantage
- Good at organizing and structuring (5S)
