We are right now looking for a new Supply Chain Developer to join our SCM team and help us optimize the supply chains of Grundfos and ensure our future competitive advantage. You will develop your expertise through cross functional projects in the plant and learn from skilled colleagues.
“As a Supply Chain Developer in Operations, you are involved in the daily operation working on continuous improvement of the supply chain set-up in the factory while supporting data analysis related to supply chain KPIs. Moreover, you are involved in local supply chain projects. You get a key role in the plant in ensuring the best supply chain setup in collaboration with your colleagues both inside and outside the plant.” explains Supply Chain Manager, Pia Helene Bechmann Andersen.
Be a part of the supply chain department
As our Supply Chain Developer, you are responsible for ensuring that we have a lean setup and thereby ensuring the right delivery, inventory and execution of the right level in the production. Additionally, you will be responsible for the material flow to the production lines – optimizing this with a lean mindset. You will have a central role in the production plant where both communicative skills and especially interpersonal skills will be needed daily. The collaboration and communication will be with colleagues, managers and stakeholders in Denmark, but also globally.
More specifically your responsibilities will be:
- Implement and deploy best practices through continuous improvements and projects throughout Grundfos’ Supply Chain
- Solve issues and act as an expert supporting the operational side of Grundfos’ Supply Chain within the Electronics Plant.
- Participate in Supply Chain Digitalization initiatives
- Participate in strategic and operational supply chain projects and e.g. task force assignments supporting the overall strategy of the Electronics Plant.
- Supporting smaller projects/process optimizations supporting relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in relation to delivery and the supply chain processes.
You will take part in a department with 8 experienced colleagues in Bjerringbro. There is an informal environment where humour is a big part of the everyday. Each day is different from the other in the production plant and you should be able to manage the deviations and new tasks.
Your background:
We imagine that you have:
- A MSc in Economics & Business Administration (the Danish Cand.merc.) or a Master’s Degree in engineering within Supply Chain or Operations Management.
- 2+ years of relevant experience within supply chain, lean and project management
- Great communication and presentation skills and can interact with stakeholders on all levels
- A curious, self-driven and outgoing mindset
- Fluent English skills and can manage yourself in Danish
- A huge drive and a willingness to learn and able to challenge status quo
- Experience working with Excel, and it is beneficial if you have experience with ERP systems e.g., SAP.
