Student Assistant - Mergers & Acquisitions Team

We are seeking a student assistant to support the Mergers & Acquisitions team. Together with a team of dynamic colleagues, you will get practical insights into the M&A world and the chance to apply your knowledge and learnings into practice.

What is the job about?

As student assistant you will be an integrated part of the M&A team and support the team on the various mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects of the Grundfos Group. Depending on the pipeline , you can be part of active projects, help us drive our internal M&A agenda or help track the M&A market. 

This can entail the following:
•    Support the team and managers in active projects, e.g. preparation of presentations, management of the VDR, preparation of financial assessments or valuation
•    Update and management of our internal tools for valuation or target tracking
•    Opportunity of own projects, for example set-up of new WACC model or valuation guide (past projects)
•    Support the continuous improvement of the Group M&A processes

Your Profile

•    Preferably a master student within economics or finance
•    Open and positive mindset and a hands-on mentality to support the team
•    Willingness to learn new things as well as no fear of jumping into cold waters
•    Personal interest in M&A and financial modelling and overall good analytical and financial understanding
•    Team player that is not too shy to engage with different stakeholders
•    Proficient in English both oral and in writing
